Getting started is simple.

• If you already have Lunar: Make sure you are subscribed to either Lunar Plus or Lunar Unlimited. Both plans include Lunar Youth. Alternatively, if you’ve picked another plan, you'll need to upgrade. Once you're on the right plan, open a Lunar Youth account with just a few swipes in your Lunar app.
• If you're new to Lunar: Download the Lunar app, open a Lunar Plus or Lunar Unlimited account, and quickly set up Lunar Youth with just a few swipes.

Once you have set up a Lunar Youth account, your kid or teen has the opportunity to download the Lunar Youth app. Here, they can easily keep track of their spending and keep an overview of their money.

Note that the number of Lunar Youth accounts you can open depends on your chosen plan. With Lunar Plus, you can open up to five Lunar Youth accounts, and with Lunar Unlimited, you can open as many as you want.

Yes! You own the Lunar Youth account but your kid will have access. This gives you full control:

• Follow your kid’s spending in real-time.
• Freeze and unfreeze the card with a tap.
• Set up a recurring allowance with a few swipes.
• Enjoy safety by default: Gambling, crypto, and adult content vendors are blocked.

When allowed by you, your kid or teen can download their own Lunar Youth app to track their spending and savings.
